Experience the education from the AAPACN 2025 Quality Virtual Conference: Day 3 – Expert Track in a recorded bundle packaged for on-demand learning. The Expert Track bundle includes four education sessions and one panel discussion featuring MDS and quality subject-matter experts from that individual day. All session recordings are a compilation of voice over PowerPoint and audio recordings from the live virtual event, plus any Q&A that followed - all accessible in your AAPACN Learner Dashboard for up to one year.

In addition to the panel discussion, the four education sessions included are as follows:

The Expert Track Bundle provides the opportunity to earn up to 5.0 ANCC continuing education hours (CEs) for viewing all five sessions. Learners must view at least 80% of all videos and complete the associated evaluation to receive the contact hours. No partial credit will be awarded. Contact hours will be awarded for this activity until September 9, 2028.

Joel VanEaton, BSN, RN, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA, RAC-MT, RAC-MTA, is Broad River Rehab’s Executive Vice President of PAC Regulatory Affairs and Education. Joel began his career in LTC more than 20 years ago as an MDS coordinator and worked for many years as the Director of Clinical  Reimbursement and RAI for a group of nursing facilities in the southeast. Joel writes a monthly column for McKnight’s LTC News and contributes regularly to Skilled Nursing News. He has contributed to the AAPACN Leader for the NAC and ASHA Voices podcast. He currently serves on the AAPACN Expert Advisory Panel and as a board member on the AAPACN Education Foundation. Joel presents regularly on all subjects related to state and federal regulation, the MDS, and clinical reimbursement.
Tammy Cassidy

Tammy Cassidy, RN, BSN, LNHA, RAC-MT, is a registered nurse and licensed nursing home administrator with more than 30 years of long-term care experience specializing in the MDS/RAI process, clinical quality, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance. A former CMS DAVE2 surveyor, she is an AAPACN Master Teacher, a frequent national speaker, and the recipient of the 2017 ACHCA Educator of the Year Award. 
Carol Maher

Carol Maher, RN, GERO-BC, RAC-MTA, RAC-MT, CPC, is a board-certified gerontological registered nurse with more than 35 years of long-term care experience, including leadership roles in reimbursement and utilization services. She served as a Gold Standard Nurse for MDS 3.0, participated on CMS workgroups and Technical Expert Panels, and is an AAPACN Master Teacher. A certified professional coder, Carol developed and teaches AAPACN's ICD-10-CM Coding for Post-Acute Care course and is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences.

Maureen McCarthy, RN, BS, RAC-MT, QCP-MT, DNS-MT, RAC-MTA, is President and CEO of Celtic Consulting, LLC, and a nationally recognized expert in clinical reimbursement, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, audits, and long-term care operations. A registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience, she has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles and is known for helping providers improve compliance and operational performance. Maureen is an AAPACN Master Teacher, serves on AAPACN's Board of Directors, and is a frequent national speaker and published author on post-acute care topics.
