Purchase the QAPI Certified Professional (QCP®) education and certification program to ensure you and your team are prepared to implement QAPI-mandated regulations in your facility. This five-course program is eligible for contact hours from both the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). Below are the steps required to complete the overall program and earn credit for this continuing nursing education activity.

Please note: While you may complete these courses and receive contact hours by reading the PDF content, these documents are intended for reference; the self-study course is designed for enhanced learning through interactivity and is recommended for the best learning experience.

To complete the courses:

  1. Access the learning material for the appropriate course.
  2. Complete the learning material by reviewing the self-study course or downloading and reading the PDF content.
  3. Complete the Self-Study Course Completion Attestation by acknowledging that you successfully finished the required review for the education activity.
  4. Complete the evaluation.
  5. If you are collecting NAB credits, you must also complete all knowledge checks.


To receive ANCC contact hours:

  • You must have completed the education activity to be eligible for the contact hours.
  • You must submit the evaluations for all courses. (Note: The evaluation is not available for completion until the Self-Study Course Completion Attestation is submitted.)
  • 16.21 contact hours will be awarded for this continuing nursing education activity. No partial credit will be awarded. Contact hours will be awarded for this activity until June 4, 2028.


To receive NAB contact hours:

  • You must take and pass the knowledge check for each course.
  • Each knowledge check requires you pass with a score of at least 80%; you have unlimited attempts to pass.
  • 18.50 contact hours are available.
