The long-term care workforce continues to face unprecedented challenges related to staffing, retention, burnout, regulatory pressures, and leadership development. Drawing on findings from AAPACN and LTC 100’s nationwide survey of post-acute care nurses, AAPACN Chief Nursing Officer, Amy Stewart, will explore what drives job satisfaction, engagement, and retention among today's workforce. During this 60-minute webinar, you will gain insight into the factors nurses value most, the impact of workplace culture and manager relationships, and the growing challenges associated with workload and regulatory demands. Through data-driven analysis and practical strategies, you will learn how to strengthen workplace culture, improve leadership effectiveness, and create environments where staff thrive and residents’ benefit.

After participating in this session, learners will be able to:

• Identify the primary factors influencing job satisfaction, engagement, and retention among post-acute care nurses based on national survey findings
• Examine the relationship between workplace culture, manager effectiveness, and workforce stability in long-term care settings
• Recognize key contributors to burnout, including staffing challenges, regulatory burden, and increasing administrative demands
