Resident Assessment Coordinator—Certified Advanced (RAC-CTA®)

The RAC-CTA® (Resident Assessment Coordinator–Certified Advanced) certification shows that you excel as a reimbursement leader. AAPACN’s RAC-CTA education program moves beyond clinical reimbursement to provide advanced education and resources to be successful with Medicare program compliance and integrity.

The program consists of 10 education courses designed for post-acute care professionals with at least one to two years of consulting experience with the RAI process, MDS 3.0, and Medicare billing. To earn the RAC-CTA credential, learners must successfully pass the 10 associated final certification exams. Course formats include live workshops and online courses.

Recertification is required every two years.
